Terms of Service

1. The service

Nexa AI is a personal assistant app that records and transcribes conversations, creates summaries, tasks, reminders and memories, answers questions about your content, and helps plan your day. It is provided on iPhone, iPad and Android.

Nexa AI is free at launch. If paid plans are introduced later, we will give you clear notice and you can choose whether to continue.

2. Your account

You sign in with email or Apple. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in secure and for activity on your account.

You must be 18 or older to use Nexa AI. By creating an account you confirm this.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use Nexa AI lawfully. In particular:

Recording laws: many places require the consent of some or all participants before recording a conversation. Nexa AI asks for consent prompts, but you are responsible for following the laws that apply to your recordings.

You must not use the service to harass, defraud, or harm others, to infringe intellectual property rights, or to process content you have no right to use.

You must not attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to the service.

4. Your content

You own your content — recordings, transcripts, summaries, documents, tasks and memories. We claim no ownership over it.

You grant us a limited licence to store and process your content solely to operate and improve the service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

AI-generated outputs (summaries, drafts, plans) are suggestions. You are responsible for reviewing them before acting on them — for example, before sending a drafted email or relying on a summary of a legal or medical conversation.

5. Assistant actions

Nexa AI can create tasks, reminders and memories automatically from your conversations. It will always ask for your confirmation before adding calendar events or sending emails on your behalf.

You can undo or delete anything the assistant creates.

6. Third-party services

Nexa AI integrates with third-party AI models (Claude, GPT, Gemini) and devices such as the Omi wearable. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms.

7. Availability and changes

We work hard to keep Nexa AI reliable, including recovering interrupted recordings, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Features may change as we improve the app; we will avoid removing core features you rely on without reasonable notice.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nexa AI is provided "as is" and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses — for example, lost profits or missed appointments — arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including under the DPDP Act.

9. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from the app. We may suspend accounts that break these terms, with notice where practicable.

10. Governing law and contact
